About ScreenLift Studios
ScreenLift Studios is the UK’s only grassroots-to-screen training and casting platform. We combine online-first actor training with published productions across our established territories.

Because we operate as an online-first community, students can join from anywhere in the UK — there are no barriers to training. All members progress through structured online sessions, with additional challenges and access to our unique ranking system at no extra cost. This gives every student clear feedback on their growth and a pathway to becoming the strongest screen actor they can be.

Filming locations are built around our students. If a minimum of 10 students are active within a given area, that territory is added into our current production loop and becomes part of the ScreenLift pipeline.

• Cross-Territory Integration
  Students may audition or participate in multiple territories if available, but lead and support roles are prioritised for the ranked students of the local territory.
• Training-to-Production Ratio
  Students must be active ScreenLift Core members (or higher) to qualify for territory productions.
• Territory Continuity
  Each territory must maintain at least 10 active students per quarter to remain in production. If numbers drop, the territory folds back into the nearest hub until it replenishes.
• Community Representation
  Every project must reflect the cultural and social diversity of its territory. Casting decisions prioritise authentic representation of the local community.
• Social & Cultural Safety
  No productions will be greenlit in areas where the safety or acceptance of community members cannot be guaranteed (e.g. in areas of cultural or racial tension).

• Web Series First
  The first production in every territory will always be a web series within the ScreenLift shared loop. Additional projects (short films, one-scene films, etc.) may follow.
• Unified Canon
  All productions connect into the wider ScreenLift production universe, ensuring continuity of tone, style, and brand.
• Rank Determines Role
  Roles are allocated by the ScreenLift Ranking System (lead, featured, support, etc.). Exceptions apply only in cases of illness, unavailability, or misalignment of role.
• Progression Pathway
  Students may graduate from territory projects into higher-level ScreenLift productions once their ranking and credits reach the progression threshold (Overall Rank = 7).
• No External Casting (except Extras)
  All principal roles are cast exclusively from ScreenLift students. External actors or crew cannot join without completing the training and assessment pathway.
• Community Standards
  Any territory failing to uphold ScreenLift’s inclusive, multicultural, and professional standards will be removed from the production loop.
